Hamilton Gardens needed a website to showcase why this renowned attraction is a favourite recommendation among Waikato locals. The site needed an intuitive user experience to present the wide range of gardens and unique spaces available.

Offering easily accessible visitor information for travelers planning their trips and locals looking to enhance their visits. Ultimately, their goal was to create a compelling online presence—a destination website that effectively captures and conveys the unique allure of Hamilton Gardens.

When people discover Hamilton Gardens as a potential destination, our goal is to inspire them to visit and explore this remarkable attraction.

To achieve this, we made user experience research a central tool in helping us establishing Hamilton Gardens as a must-visit destination with something for everyone. Putting Hamilton Gardens on the map for visitors alongside complementary adjacent attractions, such as Hobbiton, Rail Trail, Hamilton Zoo and more..

To bring this vision to life, we conducted user experience research to develop an intuitive information architecture and navigation structure, using tree testing with real users.

Our research identified four key problem areas related to locating the gardens, planning visits, and leveraging the site as a venue for weddings, events, and conferences.

By addressing these issues, we delivered an intuitive information architecture (IA) that boosts goal completion, enhances user retention, and improves overall SEO performance.

The Hamilton Gardens team needed a flexible website that maintained a high-quality look and feel, effectively presenting the gardens as a premier destination for visitors from all walks of life.

To achieve this, we delivered an elemental component library in SilverStripe, providing admins with ultimate control over new pages. This library allows them to select from a variety of content blocks to build any page they desire with flexibility.

Each content block is designed to seamlessly integrate with others, ensuring that every self-created page upholds the brand's integrity and looks great.
